MDHi there! Margaux Deckers? Mmm, in 2007 (at the age of 3) I apparently knew what I wanted to do with my life: 'MOVE'. Move myself and move people.
From that moment on I took dancing lessons. And I already loved having a camera in front of me.
When I was 6, I joined Studio 100 where two years later I had the opportunity to dance in the professional school. And why not add hiphop? So now I dance more or less 15 hours each week! Which of course helps me when posing and modeling.
Only a small step to videoclips, acting, the famous Samson Christmas shows and of course more photoshoots.
So you see, 'moving' is my motto. Moving on a stage, in a video, ... or moving people through an image, a picture.
Moving. My life, my dream, my future.

did you know ...
A photoshoot. There's more to it than just taking a picture. Preparation with the make-up artists, continuously changing poses and expressions, interacting with the camera, ... Exhausting, but lots of fun!
Behind the camera there is some sort of a bee nest. A crew of 20 to 30 members. Producer, director, camera man, styling, make-up, light- and sound engineers, props manager, ...
I adore different styles. From classical ballet with its long high lines over jazz, contemporary and modern ballet to hiphop and 'low to the ground' street dancing.
Wonderful pictures, thanks to reknown photographer Ilona Teunissen.
Icecold though, somehere deep in the woods near Valkenswaard, The Netherlands.
